DexFS: search your footage like text
Your intelligent media storage. Describe it: what someone said, what was on screen, who was in the shot. DexFS takes you straight to that moment, even if it's on a drive you haven't plugged in for years.
Good to know
- Does DexFS upload my footage?
- Only if you'd like it to. Your library, search and transcripts run on your Mac. DexFS Drive is optional: sign in and it keeps your footage in the cloud. Faces never leave your Mac.
- Do I need to move or rename anything?
- No. Point DexFS at a card, an SSD or a folder. It reads your clips right where they are.
- Will it work with my editor?
- Yes. Drag clips straight into DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro.
- Which Macs does it run on?
- Any Mac with Apple Silicon, M1 or later. DexFS is in private beta.
